Have gone twice so far. I would say they have the 2nd best matcha in the frisco area so far. Their dancha is unique and tasty. First time around I got just a plain iced matcha latte and a sea salt cream dancha. The matcha was ok and too sweet as a default drink; however I prefer very little sugar in my drinks so this could be personal preference only. The Dancha tasted significantly better in my opinion and had a great contrast of earthy tea vs the sweet and salty cream. 2nd trip I came by to try out one of their Saki Bloom promotion drinks. This one was a matcha with cherry blossom flavors. Super delicious, great matcha taste vs the floral syrup and cream - pretty sweet but there was a good distinction of flavors. I also tried their Ube croissant (forgot to get a picture). This was super simple and tasty. Croissant was flaky and ube cream was vibrant purple and sweet. Cute and chill cafe to sit in

I tried their Matcha Teatte and really enjoyed it. The girl at the counter was kind and welcoming, and the matcha itself tasted good. It leans more toward the earthy side, which isn’t usually my preference, but it was still a solid and well-made drink. I’m looking forward to coming back and trying their cold foam series next time!

Green Nova is an absolute gem for tea and matcha lovers! From the moment you walk in, the vibe is clean, inviting, and the perfect spot to slow down and enjoy something unique. You can tell they put real thought into both the menu and the overall experience. I tried the Banana Crème Matcha, and wow… absolutely incredible. Smooth, creamy, perfectly balanced, and not overly sweet—the banana flavor complemented the earthy matcha beautifully without overpowering it. It felt indulgent while still being refreshing, which is not easy to pull off. Love that they offer creative drinks beyond the standard coffee shop lineup, and the quality really stands out. If you’re a matcha fan or just want to try something different, this place is 100% worth the stop. Excited to come back and work my way through the menu! 💚🍵

I love to support small business. My husband and me are tea lover too. We came around lunch time and it was not busy. My husband got matcha and I got Oolong milk tea. We love the Matcha. The Oolong is not my favorite because the jasmine aroma was so strong. However, the staff is very friendly. We definitely come back if we are in the area.

On her never-ending quest for great tea places, Mrs. Flip Out discovered Greenova. The owners were friendly and explained how they created their specialty tea with two different types of tea, and created a strong, smooth tea that gives sustained energy. The matcha was excellent, smooth without bitterness. The dancha teatte was also excellent, and had a very smooth flavor. Later on during our trip, she tried the iced strawberry matcha and was very happy that it was not too sweet. If you’re in the Frisco area, check out Greenova. Mrs. Flip Out would stop in all the time if it were nearby!
